The GRACE Rides program began in 2009, and eventually outgrow the original small ranch. In 2016, Sherry Hall and her husband, Steve, purchased a 10 acre site near Defuniak Springs. Its facility features a 9,000-square-foot barn, sensory arena, riding trails, and fully accessible restrooms. It also includes classrooms and an horticulture area.
After establishing the program in 2007, the business soon outgrew its small ranch and now works with holiday homes, cabins, and resorts. It has grown to a ten-acre site with a fully-equipped 9,000-square-foot barn and other amenities. The new facility is home to a shaded sensory arena, riding trails, and wheelchair-accessible restrooms. A horticulture area is also part of the Grace Rides Defuniak Springs, Florida, headquarters.
The GRACE Rides program has evolved to a full-fledged campus, which includes a covered arena and riding trails. Its facilities are equipped with fully accessible restrooms, classroom areas, and an outdoor amphitheater. The facility also serves as a retreat-style residential center and offers a safe, country-style setting for participants and volunteers. This unique location allows for more flexibility for the GRACE Rides team to serve the community.
